WOW!!!
Fantastic art. I'm bookmarking his website. Thanks for the link!
He's good!

Lots of very talented western artists, both alive and dead. I appreciate the detail and character they all have.

The one's I like best are the one's that make you say "Hey, I've done that! And he got it right!"

Cowboys are picky about their authenticity.
Lots of talent
Thanks for sharing

Those are nice, the guy from Gunsmoke is a very good artist. I can’t think of his name.

The way he highlights and shows the muscling of the horse is incredible. They look like photographs when you first look at them. The storm cloud detail is also lifelike also.
Too clean IMO. Can't see the hand involved.

He is probably using a technique similar to Boris Vallejo's to paint such realistic and proportioned animals and men. I wonder too if it is acrylic paint to give it that flat photo look. This artist has taken it to next level as far as realism compared to most painters.
Very nice, we have I think some artist here like I think big sky is one that is very good.

Gouache? Overuse of photo reference too. Stiff and lifeless.
Never seen a breast collar like that.
Little too tight of a rein....

Cowboy is uptight about something.

And the reins would have an opposite grip in my left hand.
(incoming on thumb, tails out the pinky)

Maybe his wife's been watching handmaids tales grin
Not to change the subject or anything but those are some cool paintings!

Had breakfast this morning in the Wort Hotel in Jackson, Wy. The walls are covered in Western Art that had me spellbound. There are some truly talented people out there that can capture a moment in time and create a thing of beauty and emotion.

There's dozens more on his website I linked in the OP. Well worth the time to take a look if you like his work.
That kind of talent just amazes me.
