I killed Dinner today - 11/29/19
Thanksgiving dinner. I made rib steaks on the smoker. more than 3-1/2 hours on. I bought these at the local meat shop. Locally raised and never frozen, just hung cold. Beautiful meat without the fake looking bright red color (I think that's fake).
Yesterday morning I put some seasoning salt on them and put them back in the bag still separated by paper. in the smoker with chunk charcoal and chunks of mesquite. Wrapped Russet potatoes riding in there the whole time, dead soft when they came out.
On the table with our mismatched plates and our plastic bowls, no, we don't set a fancy table. We set good eats.
