I've been asking Rick for a troll zapper function since 2004 (the way I see it working is when enough vote to vote the dirt bag off the island some computer magic happens where the troll's camera comes on and posts a video here showing that last key stroke when a slightly less than lethal zap of electricity runs up it's finger.... I'm thinking more than a taser but a little less than full on bug zapper results.... it would need to be a high speed recording so we could play it back in super slow motion.....)

I posted this same thing on another thread on this same topic. Let's be honest. Most of us on this forum have about a dozen or so people, if given the opportunity, we would remove from the forum. Even though there may be a couple of near-unanimous choices, most of those people we/you choose are people with whom we/you see eye-to-eye on most issues.
Going a step further, if anybody thinks RikBin is going to ban this guy (unless he is a bot) while letting the other bullying and belittling that has become common occurrence on this once friendly forum, you're kidding yourself.
The fact that there have been 350 on over a hundred different topics posts in three days arouses my suspicions on just that.
Again, Rick has a product and deserves feedback.

As mentioned last time you were heading through here sir, you're always welcome and if given a modicum of notice would do my best to arrange my schedule to get some of the local food and/or drinks into you.
There's a whole lot of craft brewery businesses going in locally in the last few years, with more on the way. Most tend to be a wee bit hoppy for my taste, but then again I seem to be in a minority with that opinion.
Should any of you decide to meander through BC or Alberta this time of year - for posterior punting or whatever the cause, do take the time to look into either drivebc.ca or 511.alberta.ca for up to date road conditions. It's been a little bit of an odd year with our passes already having some avalanche warnings - way, way too early for that, but there it is.
Of course it likely needs not be mentioned, but prudent pummelers of forum miscreants should be running good winter tires too.....
Not that I mean to tell anyone their business ironbender, but imagine the embarrassment of not being able to hand out the swift boot the butt needed because of a minor traffic accident or worse.... proper planning prevents poor performance and all that, eh?
Honestly, while I'd welcome any of the 'Fire folks here, I'd have to say waiting until spring could in all probability be a more prudent option.

We're doing really well for the most part thanks and as long as the weather cooperates will have our family together for Christmas.
The weather gets mentioned - yet again - as our youngest and her partner are down in the Lower Mainland, so it's a 4-5 hour road trip east for them to get here.
My goodness I do hear you on getting places when I'm on the road too, so no harm, foul or ill feelings from me whatsoever. Sometimes the pull for home gets louder than any other call and one has to put the hammer down and get there.
Should that ever change for you though, for sure the offer is open to give us a shout.

We've got the Penticton Vees locally, which is one league below the Kelowna Rockets. While I'm honestly not a huge sports guy, we do occasionally go see the Vees play and usually it's really good, fast hockey.
If I'm not wrong, Kelowna will host the Memorial Cup next year too, so that should make for some fine hockey.

It's honestly been decades since I've personally been through Ft. St. John, but have friends who have kids who live there and a nephew in Grande Prairie ends up there for work reasonably often.
The google says there's 21,000 residents there and if I don't miss my guess, it's likely got more amenities than some places of that size as it'd be the service center for a fairly wide swath around it.
As far as Taco John's goes, I'm not familiar with it being north of the medicine line, but likely there's Taco Time and Taco Bell franchises up there?

What you will not find up here with regularity is biscuits and gravy. There's a new Popeye's franchise in Penticton, however if the dining experience is regularly like what my good wife and I experienced, well to be charitable I'd suggest you could do better.

Did you know NVhtr had 80 posts in 1 hour? Every time he replied move along he pushed satir posts right to the top. As some keep saying if a bunch of you would just ignore the poster their posts would be on the 2nd page in no time. But most here are too damn dumb and will reply to the post.
