Bernie is the front runner right now. He's about as close to communist as you can get. Mr. Wealth Redistribution.

Bloomberg is the $60 billion dollar capitalist attempting to buy the highest office int he land. His media onslaught is unprecedented for this period in an election. He has a blitz on radio and TV that looks like the last week of October. Non stop adds on my local radio stations and various TV outlets, both local and Direct TV feeds. Reports are he's already spend $400 million vs. $40 for Bernie.

Will the Dems let Bloomberg "buy" the nomination? Why should Bernie, Liz, Amy, or Booty stand for it? What would that do to their Party? Either a Bernie or a Bloomberg nomination is total destruction to their Party.

The only thing they can unite around is "oppose Trump". Where do they go after that?
How ironic. A Socialist vs a Billionaire for the Dems.
A finger shaking old Commie vs. a guy who every time he opens his mouth an overtly racist statement comes out. What a show this will be ! Besides racist rhetoric now the little guy is making homophobic statements, calling LGBTG individuals "it".
Does Boomberg get to stand on a box?

We saw how that worked out...

Bloomberg is the "Trump" of the D party, he's closer to politician the Trump ever will be (good on Trump!), but he's the outsider throwing his own money to get the nomination over the party's faithful. They really can't stop him if people vote for him.

The D's really are heading towards a worst of the worst candidtate, each of the leaders has serious issues:
- The billionaire
- The outsider guy throwing money
- The first homesexual (nothing particuarly wrong with that, however it has international issues)

Then there is level 2 candidates (for now) that would all come as the first female president

All to run against arguably one of the most successful presidents.

Very accurate descriptions of all they offer their voters.
OT, when I think of the dem debacle, I cant help picturing a very large backhoe sitting in the sludge pile he just created when he ran that thing through the side of a very large septic tank, bet they smell the same too. smile

Yet Another accurate description .

The Frankenstein that they’ve created has come to life and left the laboratory. And there ain’t no putting the horses back in the corral.

One good thing,,,the lines between are very clear now . As another said here a while back: even Ray Charles can see it.
ALWAYS vote for the candidate that looks like he combs his hair with a balloon. Bernie FTW!

Yep, and the ones on the freak show side are going to be heavily outnumbered by us, AND the moderates I do believe this go around, I happen to know some moderate Christian democrats, they WILL NOT vote for a homo, old crazy socialist, or raving gun grabbing lunatic like blumberg, they also told me they never voted for obongo.
Kecatt, Ole Bernie is packing a very big stick right now and he, as an Independent, can break their butts in the coming election.

Bloomberg is running to protect his own money that Bernie intends to take from him and others like him.

Put another way, I’m loving every minute of it.

As a msm commentator said: “an epic battle for the very heart and soul of the Democratic Party.” Well,,,,he was half correct. it’s for the heart only cause they have no soul.
I think Bernie realizes this is his last hurrah and if he’s to be pushed aside again will have a bit more of a scorched earth policy towards Bloomberg and others. Either way, can’t wait to see what kind of mess they make of it.

Mark my words, Hillary will be present somewhere near the finish line. So far this cycle she’s run her most successful campaign ever...no ads, no speeches, not even announced her candidacy...and subsequently people aren’t discussing how much they despise her or how bad her campaign is. That is basically all she had last time. If the dems muck it up too badly by the convention, they will try to spring her on the party.

I just can’t believe she’d put up with Bill and the rest of it all these years, be turned away at the gate in 2016, and then go quietly toward the sunset.

Something wicked this way comes.
I think I’m going to watch, might be interesting
Either way , the Dems are F*CKED.this year.

No real " kitchen table" issues to run on and a DEEP idiological division within their party.

If Bernie wins the nomination , the Corporate Dem establishment WILL NOT support him in November.

If Bloomberg wins , the "Bernie Bro" socialst crowd will not support him. He will.lose the young and minority vote bigly.

Yes- there WILL be about 60% of the Registered Dems that will "vote blue no matter who" against Trump BUT they will lose about 40% of their base voters in November due to the deep ideolical divide within their party..
bernie is a gift
If the Dems take the nomination away from Bernie this time and run Bloomingidiot, I think he will run as an Independent, and split the vote. I don't think his posse will let them get away with that this time. I really hope the Dems are that stupid.

I think Trump will win, anyway, but I'd love to see another 49states/1, like the drubbing Reagan gave Dukakis.

This time he'll get a oceanfront home in the south. wink
Bloomberg wants to buy the nomination with his money.

Sanders wants to buy the nomination with YOUR money (promising to give it to his voters).

I was thinking about this the other day. Bernie and Bloomberg split the vote pretty evenly, President Trump wins the popular vote by a large margin and all 50 states. OTOH, they might somehow pull off a Bernie/Bloomberg ticket to try to keep it together. It will be interesting to watch...
Close to??

Diversity:
Communist,
Klymidia,
An American Indian (oh wait, an ancestry falsifying, entitled, private liberal arts college lawyer),
A billionaire former mayor,
Another former mayor.....

Could very well work both ways.

Loser between Bernie and Bloomberg could go indie. Bloomberg has the mopney to do it.

Reagan ran against Carter(1980) and Mondale (1984) .

Not Dukakis.

Yep. My prediction as well !!!
Bernie and Bloomberg will end up being running mates.

(It was Mondale, but the electoral vote map for 1984 looks REALLY good!)

I’m going to watch this debate, I think Klobuchar will go nuclear bitch mode on Bloomby
You think Bernie will tell Bloomie he’s got too much money and give it away?

Where’s Ross Perot when you need him.

Hey, losers are losers! Doesn't really matter, they're all losers. Like Trump talking about McStain, I like winners! McStain was a loser, too.
Not going to watch their chit show.

No need to. That's all that will be on the news on the following days anyway... Just the highlights.

Bernie ain't a fighter. He may have a following, but when the hypocrats steal the nomination from him, he'll roll over like a well trained dog. He's used to getting screwed by now.
NBC and MSNBC, I think at 9, or else 8.
I will watch for sure. Elizabeth Warren has announced that she is going after Bloomberg, and so will everyone else. Dems in a circular firing squad.
They love Bernie, but he can't win vs Trump. They hate rich people, so a guy with $61 Billion is their savior? Pocahontas and Biden have already crashed and burned.

I have to defer to Flounder from Animal House:
