I got my sight from Buffalo Arms for my Browning Model 1895. I'm going to drop it off at my gunsmiths to have installed. Scopes and peep sights work better for my old eyes so I know I'll do a lot better with this sight on the gun.

The original Lyman sight works well on my old 1912 rifle

Very nice!
How many holes have to be drilled and tapped?
I think just one. I didn't open the bag, it has the instructions inside, I'm sure the gunsmith can figure it out.
Just the one rear hole. Front hole uses the finger lever pin removal hole.
Kaywoodie,

Any chance the sight uses one of the two holes that are factory drilled and tapped for the receiver sight?

Nope I don't think either with line up. Also those existing two holes are like 6 x 48. I believe the hole that has to be D&T'd is like and 8x32.
