I've got a pair of those Talus gloves and they are the bomb when fair weather hunting. The preformed articulation is a nice touch and the material is very durable. These are my favorite hunting gloves for early fall hunting.

Ak, thanks for the info on the Talus gloves. I was wondering which of the Sitka gloves people used and why.

Can you please comment a little on the Sitka Biby 45?
Its measurementes in Regular (I understand they make Regular and Tall), how does it feel, if it is prepared for water bag, if it comes with a rain cover?
Maybe you could also post a couple of pictures with and without the lid.
And if you have it in stock, of course.

The Sitka Gear Bivy 45 Regular works well with torsos approximately 17" to 20". It does have an internal pocket/compartment for a hydration bladder placed vertical, frame side of the pack. The Sitka Bivy 45 does include a solid grey rain cover and a pullout safety orange meat sling. It has a new for 2010 rifle/bow holder that is on the left hand side of the pack. I haven't put an elk quarter in one yet to really load it down; max load so far has been about 55 pounds which was no problem and comfortable.

I loaned out our good camera for the holidays but will post a few camera phone pics here shortly.

You know of anybody bombproofing the Sitka Packs? I have a few and I want to get somebody handy with a sewing machine to reinforce all the seams and straps.

I'm using the Sitka Flash 20 for my day use, and I have to tell you that I've been VERY pleased.

Packed the backstraps out of a decent bull this year along with all of my day use gear and the pack help up quite nicely over some rough terrain and miles.

Going on the third year with mine and still love it.

Sitka doesn't suck...especially on sale.

Stupid question, How do you know what size to order in the glove? I need a couple pair.

A good indication on glove sizing is to measure the circumference of your hand across/under the knuckles (thumb excluded).

The Sitka Gear Sizing Chart lists the following size measurements and it has worked well for most folks.

Medium 8-8.5"
Large 9-9.5"
XL 9.5-10"

Nice, Sitka is the only gear that I am willing to fully endorse at this time. I have not had the pleasure yet of testing out the new gear but I know from experience that everything this team does is first class. As soon as I can touch and feel some of this new gear I will get up a new review, but I would not let that stop you from checking it out for yourself.
