are the downpour pants and jacket the only water proof outer wear of the sitka series ?

The following Sitka Gear Series are waterproof:

Downpour (Gore PacLite with brushed exterior finish)
Stormfront Lite (Gore Paclite with smooth exterior finish)

Stormfront (Gore Performance Shell with smooth exterior finish)
Incinerator (Gore Performance Shell with brushed exterior finish)

Coldfront (Gore Soft Shell Waterproof with smooth exterior finish)

Stupid question, How do you know what size to order in the glove? I need a couple pair.

A good indication on glove sizing is to measure the circumference of your hand across/under the knuckles (thumb excluded).

The Sitka Gear Sizing Chart lists the following size measurements and it has worked well for most folks.

Medium 8-8.5"
Large 9-9.5"
XL 9.5-10"

Nice, Sitka is the only gear that I am willing to fully endorse at this time. I have not had the pleasure yet of testing out the new gear but I know from experience that everything this team does is first class. As soon as I can touch and feel some of this new gear I will get up a new review, but I would not let that stop you from checking it out for yourself.
