[Linked Image] Tactical Solutions threaded barrel, Bell and Carlson Target/Varmit stock, Sightron 2.5-10x scope. Will do 10 shot groups at 50yds covered by a quarter as many times as you want to load the magazine (under .5" five shot). My next move is to do the paper work for a silencer. Then I can build a 75yd backyard range and not disturb the neighbors. I know there are some good looking rimfires out there; lets see em.
McMillan Anschutz, 16.5" GM bbl, Volq mag release and buffer, TPS base.

Nice! Oh yeah, mine has a Tuffer Buffer.

[Linked Image]
That Stevens reminds me of a 45-120 (Quigley Down Under) Sharps that I've shot a few times. I like it.
The work on that buttplate/grip cap is outstanding.
[Linked Image]
Two more nice old rolling block single shots I see--What are they? The scope looks old but guns look really new?
i loves the squirrel rifles with a passion.

here's a couple for when the leaves are gone..pair of Cooper LVT's, top one a 17HMR with a bausch & lomb 6-24x, the bottom a 17mach2 wearing a sightron 3-12x42. [Linked Image]

Sorry, they're not rollers, and they are new, as is the scope.

They are USRA (Miroku) Winchester 1885 low walls, and the scope is a Montana Vintage Arms (MVA) 23 incher.

The one with the scope is my "shooter", but the lower one is unfired.

Lot's of beautiful rimfires here..... smile
Wow, this thread sure runs the whole gamut of tastes in rimfire rifles.

Something for everybody, it seems.

I'm droolin.
Mr. Moses;
Here are a couple that I've played with a little.

This 10/22 I built a stock for after I intalled a Green Mountain barrel and replaced internal parts than I care to add up the cost of right now. wink
[Linked Image]
This 1958 vintage CZ was a gift from my wife years ago. The stock appeared one winter when I needed something to occupy my time.
[Linked Image]
Thanks for the interesting thread and thanks to all who have repsonded. There are indeed some fine looking rimfires out there.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Of course, everyone has a 10/22.

Some sweet rifles here!
Moses...most are not like that, spent a few years gathering some with good timber, have a fondness for nice wood. especially Mach2's.

here's another Mach2, custom fluted contender carbine in that caliber. a real shooter.
[Linked Image]
maple stocked 452 in 17HMR...dont have this one any more, sold it to a good friend, but if he ever decides to part with it it'll come back to me.
[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

10/22 i use when hunting gray squirrels, since they dont sit still much. wanted something that shot well but also would offer a quick followup on runners....fluted tapered 22match barrel by green mountain, rollover cheekpiece stock by fajen, volquartsen guts inside.
my first HMR, another contender carbine in HMR, this one by Virgin Valley.
[Linked Image]

I have somewhere around 50 cartons of .22 ammo and haven't shot a .22 in ages. I walked into a Pawnshop a couple of weeks ago and this beauty jumped out at me. I couldn't resist...a Kimber with stock wood on it, as nice as I've ever seen on a production gun. I will be shooting some .22 ammo this spring. Unless I sell it before.

I'd have to keep that one around a while. You are right; you don't come across grain like that very often.

Crossfire--Another Stevens I see! Nice looking wood and what the devil is that rear sight? A Lyman of some kind I see? Looks to be windage adjustable? What treatment did you use on the metal--I assume due to the reline and redoing the reciever from the original case color that the gun might have been a basket case at one time?
Great work keeping an old gun shooting!

That's a "Parts Unknown" ( Now Red River, I believe)....from that Sergio Fella' in Winnipeg, Imported / made in the Ukraine. It's a short Borchardt style Soule, and is indeed Mindage adjustable. The metal is all Rust blued, over varying degrees of prep / polish. If I recall correctly it was Pilkington's, using the Roy Dunlap method.

The screws and a few small parts were Niter blued.

I believe I used that Mark Lee Express Brown on the glass beaded iron frame, the hoo yah around the pins is just oil.

That rifle was an absolute wreck when I started.
