I’ve got this Ruger 10/22 that I’m trying to see what it is worth. It’s brand new in the box and I don’t know it’s age. I’ll Try to describe it the best I can. It’s stainless with a blonde colored stock. The stock has been engraved and the engraving looks like “fish scales”. That’s probably not what it is, but it resembles fish scales in a way. It’s a beautiful little rifle anyway. Thanks,

That looks like it except I remember mine being much lighter in color. I’ll have to try and dig it up and see

Any chance yours is a maple stock? I thought I saw a lipsey offering of a TALO in maple once.

If you have the box, the model number will be on the label.

I like the sound of that rifle.
NOT to hi jack, I refinished my factory 10/22 stock with linseed oil, tru oil, and acetone mix and it turned out nice.

I do have the box, the rifle is still in it. It’s at the back of my safe right now. I’ll try to dig it out and get the number off it.

The bbl is stainless, the receiver is aluminum. All 10/22 are alloy receiver.
The description just means the receiver is silver colored.

The AMT copy of the 10/22 was indeed stainless receiver. No doubt contributing to some confusion.
