I’ve got this Ruger 10/22 that I’m trying to see what it is worth. It’s brand new in the box and I don’t know it’s age. I’ll Try to describe it the best I can. It’s stainless with a blonde colored stock. The stock has been engraved and the engraving looks like “fish scales”. That’s probably not what it is, but it resembles fish scales in a way. It’s a beautiful little rifle anyway. Thanks,

Any chance yours is a maple stock? I thought I saw a lipsey offering of a TALO in maple once.

If you have the box, the model number will be on the label.

I like the sound of that rifle. NOT to hi jack, I refinished my factory 10/22 stock with linseed oil, tru oil, and acetone mix and it turned out nice.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

The bbl is stainless, the receiver is aluminum. All 10/22 are alloy receiver. The description just means the receiver is silver colored. The AMT copy of the 10/22 was indeed stainless receiver. No doubt contributing to some confusion.
