Found a neat old 22 at a local shop for a great price. It's not collector grade by any means but the appearance is nice overall. I'm not a collector. I'm a shooter. The barrel stamp is KD, which is May 1935, the last year of the model 34. What a piece of engineering. The lift gate that places the cartridge parallel ahead of the chamber is genius! I can see why short, long and long rifle will feed so easily.
Anybody else shoot one? I'm looking forward to getting it out to the range. I sure hope I can see through the tiny aperture on the peep.
Envy wink been kina looking for one quite a while.
Nice. Mine is stupid accurate.

Very nice! As soon as I figure out how to post pics, I'll get a few up. I've heard these old Remingtons shoot really well.
Those are classic .22 rifles.
