Gents, will we see the Ruger African chambered in 30-06 next year? As there seems to be a gap...... wink

I would be first in line for one! As it might look like this old RS 77 in 30-06 :)(almost)

Knowing the popularity of the 30-06 I would guess its a logical addition to the African Safari line up.......
I think the 7x57 would be a fitting chambering too.

Would be nice to see the 275 Rigby in the current Ruger or even in the CZ 550 here.....
Am fortunate to have located a Mk1 M77 in 7x57 which now sits in a McWoody.......just devine.

Ruger made some Model 77 Express Rifles in 30/06. Also in 270 Winchester and 300 Winchester Magnum... Keep an eye out online because they do get sold.
i hope they do then i can rebore to 35 caL and re-chamber to 35 whelen

Or you can just buy a Winchester Super Grade 30-06 right now! grin

A 35Whelen in a African would be ace!
SeeDepp - agree the 7x57 Mauser would look just right on the Ruger African platform - very classy.

AussieGunWriter - it might be a tad difficult to buy either brass or factory loads headstamped "275 Rigby" as opposed to
7 Mauser / 7X57. But "275 Rigby" also sounds great.
