Brass like other metals is subject to metallurgical deteriorization from age, don't think I'd be looking to reload brass that old when there's plenty of newer stuff readily available.
I use brass from Des Moines, 44 and Twin Cities, 54. Both have been fine. I ream primer pockets and anneal the necks before sizing. Also have stuff from "39". I find it better than the junk I`ve gotten from Winchester.

Yes. I have a bunch of Mil brass from the 40's and 50's and use it. My hunting loads go in a batch of LC57 Match.
