I've never asked, but I will now. Do you have a chef in the family? If not you post some of the best looking dishes I've ever seen with no formal culinary background. Damn...........
Nice!!

I've a powerful hankern' for cut strawberries, sugar, of course, on shortcake, topped with whipped cream, or, better still, ice cream.
That flan and the banana upside down cake look killer.
Now I think I'm going to ask my wife to make her coconut flan.
Fats, what is the last one? All those layers?

That peach cobbler with the pecans on top would be my first pick.

No, just lucky my daughters and wife were able to learn early from three generations of cooks. All of them each have their interests and specialties they enjoy making.

Having said that the youngest worked her way thru college in the college's professional kitchen. The older ladies who handled the commercial bakery took a liked and took her under their wing while working there. She also worked summers at a local Grocery Store's Deli and Bakery till graduation.. She's a Grocery Manager at the store now saving up money to continue her grad degree studies.

Middle child's chocolate ganache crepe cake. Yeah that's what I said. She's the microbiologist and one pictured.

My grandmother's recipe. Though my wife calls it a modified peach dump cake purist that she is.

Holy cow.
It all looks good, but I haven't had a good lemon bar in ages... and now I covet.

Wow, that flan looks delicious. I could eat that whole thing!
It all looks great but that lemon bar looks especially interesting. Good looking, smart daughters that can cook!
