If not you post some of the best looking dishes I've ever seen with no formal culinary background. Damn........... Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor. I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.

No, just lucky my daughters and wife were able to learn early from three generations of cooks. All of them each have their interests and specialties they enjoy making. Having said that the youngest worked her way thru college in the college's professional kitchen. The older ladies who handled the commercial bakery took a liked and took her under their wing while working there. She also worked summers at a local Grocery Store's Deli and Bakery till graduation..
