Hello all!
I have an idea that I would like to make some jerky on my Pit Boss smoker. What cut of beef would you suggest I start with? I think I also understand I will only get about 25% net of jerky. Also, any tips are much appreciated.
Take care, and Merry Christmas!
Rick

Been a while since I made any jerky out of beef, but I remember London broil was mentioned in several recipes I had read. Someone with more recent experience will chime in here soon..

Bottom rounds are usually used because it's a cheaper cut of meat. Top rounds make a good jerky also.

I would look for what is on sale and trim any fat off.
