It seems that Bisquick no longer puts the recipe for dumplings on the box.

Hmmmm.......I thought so too.

The box I have posts the recipe almost like an after thought.

I want short cake now.......

2 cups Bisquick and two thirds cup of milk.

Mix till soft dough forms.

Drop by spoonfulls onto boiling soup or stew.

Reduce heat...cook uncovered 10 mins.

Cover...cook a further 10 mins.

Eat until in pain.

I know how to make em......I just found it kind of telling.

Who knows though.....maybe the bean counters are just saving ink.

They are not free range or gluten free.

No place for them today in the culinary scene.

Been that way for quite some time. Bisquik is what I use for my dumplings. i just go on consistency when I mix it.
