Could be a pieces parts project rifle? What do you guys have for gunsmith specials?

Chris, Please clarify what you are looking for. There are only two factory configurations - the original lever safety or the post-mil tang safety. Are you looking for one of those?

The only other possibility I can think of is one of the several after market safeties that converted the original lever safety to a tang safety. I believe some of these put the safety "button" on the wood behind the tang and others put the "button" on the tang. Is this what you are seeking?

Well, there is that pesky variant of a tang safety, the 99C removable magazine model. I'm thinking Chris is looking for a tang safety receiver with a rotary magazine.

Yep post mill tang safety with rotor

Thanks Chris

Still on the hunt for a tang safety receiver.

No gunsmith specials out there?

Thanks Chris

Interesting. I am looking at one right now, circa 1947, with a tang safety on it and a lever safety also.

Those turn up now and then. There is also one that has a lever safety added to the left side. These are aftermarket addon's.
