There are only two factory configurations - the original lever safety or the post-mil tang safety. Are you looking for one of those? The only other possibility I can think of is one of the several after market safeties that converted the original lever safety to a tang safety. I believe some of these put the safety "button" on the wood behind the tang and others put the "button" on the tang. Is this what you are seeking?
