Gene Ingram knife...finally! - 09/21/20
G'day all,
Approx 16 years ago I joined the campfire and fell in love with the pictures of knives by Gene Ingram posted by people like Steelhead and Big Stick (back when their posts were helpful and civilised).
As a student living week to week ordering one of his blades was simply something to dream about.
As the years passed I remained mesmerised by the beauty of Mr Ingram's blades and my "need" for one wasn't helped by posts by people like geedubya ; )
Eventually, I asked Mr Ingram to add my name to his list and about 18 months later my turn to order came around.
Mr Ingram was very patient, helpful and accommodating, slightly stretching his #4 B&T for me - S30V, antique paper micarta handles, red liners and kydex sheath. A real gentleman with old fashioned customer service.
Anyway, it arrived today and WOW - even better than I could have hoped.
I will try to work out how to post a pic.
