Nobody ownes buck knives ?

I have 8 or 9 110's, but your question was "most"... wink
Herron
Up until a couple years ago most of them were D'Holder. Didn't make sense having all that $$ tied up in knives that I would never use, so sold all but a couple. Now most of my knives are labled "Ingram".
Let see
Case
Buck
Bear
Gene
Soon Charles May

That's all
A couple or so very old Schrades, three old Bucks, two Grohmanns, five Knives of Alaska. Now starting on Charlie May knives. Could likely find some Gerbers around the house too.
Dozier,Buxton,Hendrix,Randall
Forschner/Victorinox is in the lead, followed by Old Timer/Uncle Henry.
Karbar, Treeman
1 - Benchmade
3 - Case
1 - Coleman
1 - Dozier
1 - Forschner
1 - Herron
2 - Ingram
1 - Karbar
1 - Knives of Alaska
1 - Marbles
1 - Reeve (chris)
1 - Victorinox
1 - Winston

More spread than I would have thought.

Spot
pat crawford (my favorite made in 1979)
TONS of Marbles, new and old
RJ Handcrafted
Buck
Bark River
Anything made in Michigans UP
Randall & Chris Reeve

AD
Strider, and Charles May
Murray Carter and then miscellaneous stuff
KOA
Gerber
28 Randalls
9 Doziers
2 Charles May
Bark River and it will probably continue that way
S.O.B. Knives.....One-Of-A-Kimd
Victorinox
Benchmade
Dozier

These would be the top three in numbers, and, probably most used. I have many other names and use some of them quite often, Buck 110's from the Custom Shop jump immediately to mind, but the top three would be listed above.
Bob Jolley-3 knives-2 stock, and 1 bowie custom ordered
Dozier-1
Ingram-1
Cold Steel-1 Texas Bowie
Camillus-1 OVB-Fisk SouthWest bowie
Various Marbles, Bark River, Black Jack (old company), and too many pocket knives to count....LOL

Keith
Gene Ingram
I own and use many, many George Herron knives.

Steve

PS. Here is a small sample:

[Linked Image]

This is my favorite shape of Herron. I have backups for most of these.

[Linked Image]

This is Karen's favorite shape.

[Linked Image]
Mastadon Ivory Folder. I also have Bison Horn, Jig Bone, Mother of Pearl and Kudu Horn Folders. By the way, Kudu Horn is Red/Maroon and absolutely gorgeous. Kinda $pendy knives. grin

[Linked Image]

This knife is just about all a Herron can be. By the way, George Herron taught Bob Loveless how to get that absolutely flawless join between the guard and the blade.

George Herron was the absolute MASTER, in my opinion. May God rest his wonderful soul.

1 Helle Eggen
1 Old Timer pocket knife (love that knife)
and soon to be delivered -
2 Gene Ingram customs
There will be more down the road i'm sure.
5 Gerbers, 3 CRKT (Columbia River Knife and Tool)...great kinves
Don Buckbee, and Marbles..
Steve, that is one sick collection of knives. I should have put on a bib before looking.

Thanks for sharing.

Bubba, my good friend,

I miss him too. A lot.

In the quiet times, I think a lot about George. And I must admit to misty eyes a time or three over the old cuss. grin

We were so fortunate to have known and loved George.

Morseth's from A. G. Russell for actually carried and used.

A fair number of Victorinox stashed around and odds and ends of singles from several different makers.

There's a lot of remorse in putting a patina on a fresh from the maker knife so I'd go stainless or nearly so if I had it to do over for many but not all purposes.

When I started the super steels weren't around - I have one full custom 1095 blade that is entirely satisfactory and an issue Ontario that is just fine. Time was good stainless was mostly 440C and often not well handled.

I do trust the Morseth to be as advertised a good combination of edgeholding and rugged if inclined to delaminate when abused.
kershaw, buck and gerber, with three different norse blades.
