Steve, sitting here looking at a picute of George and I in the dogging field and looking at some of his knives. Still brings a lump to the throat. I miss him. Bubba Bubba, my good friend, I miss him too. A lot. In the quiet times, I think a lot about George. And I must admit to misty eyes a time or three over the old cuss. We were so fortunate to have known and loved George. Your friend Steve

Morseth's from A. G. Russell for actually carried and used.
A fair number of Victorinox stashed around and odds and ends of singles from several different makers.
There's a lot of remorse in putting a patina on a fresh from the maker knife so I'd go stainless or nearly so if I had it to do over for many but not all purposes.
When I started the super steels weren't around - I have one full custom 1095 blade that is entirely satisfactory and an issue Ontario that is just fine. Time was good stainless was mostly 440C and often not well handled.
I do trust the Morseth to be as advertised a good combination of edgeholding and rugged if inclined to delaminate when abused.
