It is a Polyester Resin/Polyester Fabric. Sorry add I don't know anything about horse stall mats.

It can actually be buffed. I know it says it can't but it can, just not to the point of other materials. But with that said a lighter buff keeps a better grip.

They advertise it as more shock absorbent than micarta, etc.
Does it have a little give to it or is it as hard/stiff as micarta???

Tim it is hard as hard as Micarta I am not 100% sure on.

I like the "lighter" than Micarta or G-10 part.

Does it ever look attractive? Micarta in various colors coupled with pins and liners can be acceptable in the looks department while maintaining enough toughness to suit most users.
