Last year I made a few knives and made a bunch of blanks. I hadn't touched any of it for a while but figured I had some extra time on may hands, so why not. Did my finish grinding and put some scales on them. I got the blades down to about .008" thickness before putting an edge on them. Pretty damn sharp! I wish I hadn't broken my second set of crosscut zebrawood scales as they would have looked nice being a pair. Didn't want to wait 3 weeks for more to come in.
Very nice - like the top knife - looks handy for a lot of stuff .
I thought we had your memorial service? LOL!
You have skills...nice work.
Damn man, those turned out nice.
Hard to decide which one I like more! 🤔
Damn! A LOT better than some full time makers I've seen!
Both are nice patterns.
Thanks gents, I’m having fun with it and learn from every knife. Some of the fine details are hard to get right, but for now I’m looking for functional more than anything. I’m gonna send one to my uncle who came up and helped out on my sons first caribou hunt.
.... you need a makers mark on them!

I’ve thought about that, guess I should come up with something. Don’t know how to go about adding one to a knife though.
NICE!!! I’d love to have that top one!!!
What’s the measurements and specs on it ?

That one has a 4” x 1” blade, OAL of 8 3/4”. I use 1084 steel as I’m not set up to heat treat anything that requires a long soak time. The handle is zebrawood with red g10 liners and stainless pins/lanyard hole.

Got this one all set to head to my uncle. Momma is going to bake some goodies to toss in with the package.
That’s a nice gift!👍

Thanks man, keeps me from going nuts until the snow melts! Haha!
nice looking work knives right there!
Very nice work on the knives and the sheaths. I need to go back and try doing some more. They are time consuming but I think I could get hooked.
