I will have to think about this one over the weekend.
Additionally, the 1960's had the rounded lever, instead of the square lever they changed to in the 1970's, which gives it more of the old western look and would help hold the value better.
Also, 30-30 ammo is cheaper, and more readily available for shooting enjoyment.
"Clean" 95% 1960's models don't just pop up every day.
550 with a peep is a good price if it also has the original front and rear iron sights. Sell the peep for 50-75 if you want to, and you'll be getting it for less that 500 which is a really good deal.
