Took it to the range today and the first 4 shots. Ammo was Hornady American Gunner 155 bthp.
I was zeroing the scope and was not seeing my hits until the 4th shot and I noticed that I was hitting the lower right corner of the target. 60 mils up and about 15 left got it on target.
This is 3 shots at 100 yards.
At 300 yards, it shot about 4" group. I had no problems hitting 6" to 8" rocks at 300-335 yards.
The only hick-up was when I tried some handloads that were loaded in brass that had been fired from another rifle. 3rd round, the fired case stuck in the chamber. Seems the Redding dies do not size the brass down enough for the chamber. That brass was 0.470 at the base before and after firing. The Hornady Brass was .465 before and .468 after. I have a RCBS FL that sizes down to .0467 and the SB that sizes down a little more so those dies will fix the issue. I just need to get the bolt action out and start shooting that rest of that ammo.
The Hornady brass was ejecting to the 4 o'clock at about 10-12' on gas setting 1. I did not try the other gas settings. I was also shooting suppressed which makes it very pleasant to shoot with less noise and lack of recoil. I am really happy with this purchase.
