Time for a trip down memory lane. It's been a year since the lockdowns and restrictions kicked into high gear here in Canada.

The only change for Canada in the last 12 months is that we apparently have what is called a "vaccine" for the beer virus. Few people have seen it however.

Trudeau admits that it has been slow in coming. The PM spoke with NBC's Meet the Press on Feb 28th, saying that Canada's vaccine response has been slow. But he also said with new vaccines being approved, 'we're going to have everyone vaccinated probably by the end of the summer.' The underlining is mine. We'll probably be vaccinated. Those of us who are left.

Good news for the US however. You will be living next to a vacant lot.

I think that's a fair assessment if the COVID troubles continue. He will be seen as the provider of COVID bux, vaccine and gun legislation.

Trudeau's government is trapped. The Liberals have to continue giving out COVID dollars to individuals which makes it difficult to help businesses and the economy. There simply isn't enough money to go around. But if he cuts or radically changes the cash distribution to Canadians, he will lose votes. People will get angry if the government stops sending them their COVID cheques. Voters will turn on the Liberals.

This, to me, explains why the Liberals introduced the firearms legislation. We know they have to put as many vote buying ideas in front of the public as they can. But they are a minority government, so they have to tread lightly. Anti gun stuff is safe ground and buys them votes in the big cities..

I believe I posted this on another thread, but if the gun legislation fails, Bill Blair's head will roll. Justin and the Liberals will be safe. If the vaccine rollout gets fouled up, he has the provincial premiers and their ministers of health to take the fall. At the federal level, he has a serving and retired general to take the fall for him. If his handlers play their cards right, the Liberals will have enough good stuff out there to be re-elected as a majority..

Remember, this is a game of chess. Justin isn't playing. He is like the king. That is, he has extremely limited movement and has pawns which will take the hits for him as the opposition approaches. The object is to checkmate the Liberals, In the game of chess, the king is powerless to stop the opposition and depends on other pieces to protect him.

Politics has always been a game of chess. I am not overreaching, to use your words. Justin is being controlled by forces more intelligent than he. But he is a front man. The party straw man.

What you may not understand is that the Liberals are not simpletons. They would not remain in power if that was the case. Individuals within their ranks like Justin and Blair are not particularly bright, but these people are used until they are no longer of any use. The power brokers replace them.

These are the hard facts.

The Liberal Party has held power for 70 of the 100 years in the 20th century, and 12 of the 21 years in the 21st century. Reducing it to a percentage, the Liberals have held power for 68% of the time from 1900 to the present day. Or 82 of the past 121 years. You do not hold power for that long without a competent strategy group. They work in the background, planning and directing.

I have always been a Conservative, but recognize that the Liberal party is a force to be reckoned with.

Liberalism is the natural end result of democracy. Voters are like children. They are self centered, and selfish. They vote for the party who will "give" them the most stuff with no regard to how it will affect the country as a whole or how much it will cost future generations in national debit.

I liken it to a 10yr old child who finds a huge bowl of candy next to a huge bowl of salad on the kitchen counter top. What do they go for, the veggies that are good for him or the candies that they gorge on until it makes them sick and someone else has to clean up the mess?

Yes, which makes them a force to be reckoned with. It is difficult for most people not to submit.

The Conservatives are the party that cleans up the mess. When the Liberals have emptied the money chest, the Conservatives will be voted back in. Remember that it has been years since Canadians have voted in who we need. For many years we have simply voted out the party we no longer cared for. What goes around, comes around.

We blame the left, but it is the fat, lazy, sheeple voters who are to blame along with the media who feeds them, esp the CBC.

A good portion of women vote based solely on the cuteness factor.They could care less how policies would affect them and their families. Then they blame others for their poor decisions. How is the government doing so far? Will we have 8 million doses in Canada by the end of the month? They have three weeks. So far, and I would like to be wrong about this, the government has talked a lot, but lags behind on receipt and distribution of vaccines.

Please post your thoughts, but there's no need to sound like a crazy person. We have all seen what's happened so far. What the government said and what's happened are different.

Canada is set to receive 1.5 million additional doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine this month, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced during a press conference Friday.

Pfizer will be delivering the additional doses to Canada in March, “moving deliveries ahead of schedule,” Trudeau said.

So far, 6 million doses total of COVID-19 vaccines were expected by the end of March. With these accelerated Pfizer vaccine deliveries and the additional 500,000 Astrazeneca doses delivered this week, Canada will now get 8 million doses by the end of this month.

“We’ll also be getting another 1 million doses ahead of schedule in both April and May,” he said.

In total, Canada can “now expect 12.8 million doses from April to June from Pfizer alone,” the prime minister added.

Sounds like a CBC news item well prepared by a Liberal. My mother is 80 years old and refuses to be a lab rat along with many others in that retirement home. What happen to the one year animal tests that usually accompany a newly developed vacine? We can't really place blame and be angry toward the Liberals. Trudeau has hand picked a group of incompetent, unqualified people to run the country, just to fulfil the liberal dream state of having 50% women and minorities in cabinet. In a non Wuhan Flu environment they probably could have stumbled along blindly leading a country into decay. The blame should be squarely put on the Chinese who also as incompetent as Trudeau. Many countries are now approaching China for the billions lost worldwide over this escaped virus from the Institute of Virology in Wuhan. The WHO report as been rejected and tossed out due to conflict of interest issues and lack of cooperation from the CCP. Don't hold your breath waiting for Trudeau to condemn the chinese and ask for financial reprisals. That could be racist according to his cabinet.

That is very poor performance when many European countries are well over 50% and Israel is now 100% done. The mishandling and Sinovac deal that Trudeau put all his eggs in that basket, fell through when the CCP pulled out. Estimates are that this lost time will cost another 5000 lives in Canada. Anyone who thinks 5% is a great performance is a Trudeau fan.
