Thanks for the photos once more, although I don't always comment I absolutely do always enjoy them immensely.
We're still not getting any measurable precipitation even on the mountains, which is late by a couple weeks at least.
Yesterday morning sitting at 5000' waiting for an elk that didn't show, it was 9Β° when we left the truck which again is about 9Β° warmer than normal - at least - for up there in the last bit of October.
We're hoping it at least cools down somewhat before the moose opener on Nov. 1st as this unusually warm fall has meant changes in how or better said where we hunt since getting large animals off the mountain represents it's own challenges. Should also explain that we hunt as far from roads or quad access as possible because that's where there's more large animals.
