Gents a while back someone here was posting about after market bolt knobs for the classic stainless.

The poster had purchased a few and swapped out the factory bolt knob.

If memory serves it was either a 3 panel checkered or a smooth bolt knob.

I'd like to find a few. Does anyone have a recollection or a lead?

I was hoping someone here would respond. Sounds like a great idea. I've always thought the knurling around the circumference of the bolt knob was tacky on the post 64. They all look the same!!!

Whoever it was posted pics at one point BSA.

I'm hoping he sees this, as I feel like it was one of the regulars.

Are you speaking to removing the entire splined bolt handle and replacing it (assuming non-pre-64) or cutting the existing bolt handle off and welding on a new one?
