Any pictures for us Barry?
LOL!
Yeah, still work in progress. But I'll get a couple after daylight...
Got moved in!
Kinda....
Still moving stuff as need be. Get internet installed today at new house, so I'll be moving the office soon.
Living room.
Dining room. (Gotta have a Charlie Russell in there)
Got my saddle parked in the house too. Hope it can stay there... I don't enjoy riding as much as I used to.
Kitchen... Have pulled pork and a pot of beans cooking in crock pots.
Spare bedroom. Cowboy style!
Nicer than nice Barry, it looks comephy.
Thanks Richard!
We like it.
A big thumbs up emoji thingie goes HERE
Nice job,
you'll enjoy it.
Geno
Thanks Richard!
We like it.
You and Obama?
i like that set up with your saddle. that fits in with the rest of the cowboy stuff.
Dang Barry, that's NICE! Congrats!
everybody needs a good cowboy saddle in their house.....
You guys are stylin'!
My wife would run my ass outta the house if I brought my dusty old saddle inside!

Ha ha ha!
You married one of them city girls, din'tcha?
Truth be known yes.
But I'd have to agree with her. Packin' the saddle in and out of the house would piss even me off....
Probably find a fricken mouse nest in one of the saddle bags.....lol
It ain't as clean as need be for living in the house.
Charlie, if you want to argue politics up on the freak show, that's one thing.
We treat each other nice down here, and on the food section.

I actually traded my horse for a Mule (Kawasaki type) awhile back.
I don't have to gather cows twice a year on 200 sections anymore.
Cows follow the Mule around now.
Riding a horse became a 4 letter word for me long ago.... w-o-r-k.
Around a dozen times horseback a year here.
ATV/UTV 90% of the time.

Good point! Will comply.
I missed that earlier.
Richard, you make a fine regulator!
Side track now on the nice house but still relevant.
Barry, the Russell print you have on the wall was a rendition of an actual event. It took place about 20 miles west of where we run most of our cows(some deeded but mostly BLM/CMR...). Over towards Timber Creek, look at a map and it's on the northwest side of Fort Peck reservoir.
My dad knows the story. A guy by the name of Frank Howe roped the bear.
It is one of my favorite Russell paintings.
Sweet pad man!
Don, we need a pic of Fin in the house!
Yeah. That saddle is cool. Practical as well. Your pistol is ready to go if you need it.
Nice Barry!!!
Love the Charles Russell print. He and Remington are my two favorite artists!
And We traded our horses for 4-Wheelers and a Polaris Ranger YEARS ago. They don’t buck, kick, bite, or die. And you don’t have to feed em. 🤠
hunts thats good looking set up also.i just got the saw/ traps/ horns/ hog & gator skulls . saddle went with the horse years ago
Nice looking house, Barry. Envious of the Western motif and saddle.
I got a saddle as far as the shop/reloading room. My wife is OK with big game mounts, but was not too crazy about me dragging a saddle into the living quarters.
Huntsman22, evening, I can name almost all of your collection but can't tell what the copper or brass canister thing is by the crate??? That right there is a mans house or room !!! It looks like my kitchen when I lived on 36 acres. Or Dads living room before he past. Great decor man. Have a good weekend guys. Bill out. 🐾👣🐾👣🇨🇦
gwp, it's just a brass based copper pot with an extended neck and pour spout. Was my great grandma's. Have no clue what she used it for other than heating laundry water, as I also have her washboards.
Nice digs, Barry!
I'd like to know how you fellers get your saddles purty enough to be inside!!

Thanks guys!
I just blew the dust off mine with my air compressor hose...
Don't tell my wifey to look at the underside of the saddle blanket though.
That is sharp. The "rusticness" of all of the wood is really nice.
Beautiful home you built there rockinbbar! The decor sure is inviting.
The pictures of everyones collections are impressive.
Round Oak, sure like your repurposing of that milk can as a saddle stand for that handsome Wade (I think).
And lastly, if I could link a song for us Charlie Russell fans and I can't, I'd share a favorite of mine from Will Dudley, "The Gift", off of Colorado Horses 2003.
Neat place. I really like the materials you used.
And you even let the dog have his own chair!
Good Man!
Great looking pad! I really like that kitchen arrangement.
I haven’t been down here in awhile. The house is great.
I got to keep my saddle in the house...once...for one night...the day after it showed up brand new in the box 😀

The humidity down here will rot leather PDQ if left out in the barn/tackroom.
Had to pay to get new wools put on my old Big Bend Saddlery saddle before. (Those saddles are so expensive, and expensive to have fixed right, that I started hunting a corner in the climate controlled house.)
