Another vote for the perfection knot, that's what I use. I found a video on YouTube I think one time that I used to learn it. Now it's easier than tying my shoes
Depends on the lure. For tying on small jigs a 3 turn surgeons knot is an easy and good choice. For longer lures with more hooks a Rapala knot or one of the close variations works well. Lots of good videos on YouTube.
The canoe man knot is a simple bowline and a lot of these other loop knots are bowline with a bight or 2 or 3 bights. In fine mono a bowline or improved clinch is sometimes hard to tie but a bowline will hold. I use a Uni knot for attaching lines together or for a loop knot —I use it lots. Attatching a hook I sometimes use a Paloma’s but mostly a trilene knot
