What can you tell me about whitworth Mausers,?? Are they any good?

I played with one some, it was a .375H&H. It was a fine rifle, I just didn't have a use for it so it went back to its owner.

Whitworth is just a brand name used for rifles assembled in England. All of the Whitworth Mausers that I recall seeing were built on Santa Barbara actions made in Spain or Zastava actions made in the former Yugoslavia.

I had a .375 H&H Whitworth express for a while. It was a very nice and well built rifle. Mine had a Zastava action.

Then I figured out I didn’t need it. And I really had no use for it. So I traded it off or sold it. Don’t remember which. I kept my 9.3 x 62. If I ever need a big rifle that one will work.

It was a very nice well built rifle tho!

They were only made using Zastava made actions, same as the Interarms Mk X.

I thought that the British companies that assemble rifles from outsourced parts weren't particular. I've seen Parker-Hale and Formost brand rifles built on both Santa Barbara and Zastiva actions. Witworth must be an Interarems brand, if they are built on actions stamps Interarems.

I got a Whitworth 7X57 barreled action from the factory rep back in the mid 80s and put it in a [bleep] full length stock. It has taken many deer since then. It's a fine action and the barrel is quite accurate. It's the one on the bottom:
