Ernest Hemingway used it in his old Model 12 Winchester until the wood was completely soaked. An interesting story about that old Model 12. G&H had it for sale on the bargain rack for next to nothing and a guy bought it not knowing it's provenance. After he found out he was dumbfounded with the treasure he had found.
