There is no coincidences in obamaland.
It's all planned out, long ago.
Julian Castro, who gave the big speech at the Democratic National Convention last time around (as Obama did, when he was being similarly groomed) has since been called to the Obama cabinet in DC as Housing Secretary.
At the time the talk was he was being prepared to be Hillary's running mate. If he becomes VPOTUS all this Alamo stuff is gonna hit the fan.
Castro's single mom, Rosie, was a Radical Latino activist in the '70's, in a Hispanic Texas that by and large doesn't give a rip about such things. Because of her radical politics she was purposefully kept out of the public eye during his Texas career, first as a City Councilman then as Mayor.
Much like his hero, the President, Castro lies far to the Left politically and is likewise a Harvard-educated lawyer.Once in as Mayor, Castro and his cronies actually renamed a fine old historic street downtown Cesar Chavez Blvd, tho' likewise no-one Hispanic around here really give a rip about Cesar Chavez (they should, Chavez was actually outspoken against illegal immigration).
These are indeed perilous times for the future of the Alamo.
If this major revamp ain't pulled off now likely it never will be.
