I sold the highest condition post-war and post-mil rifles to buy a few 1899s, an M1920 and an 1895, all with a lot of character but retaining original condition. The handful of rifles that remain are crazy accurate for that day and age or any day for that matter. The rifle that I paid the most for had the best provenance and character - go figure

So then, how do you rate yourself as a collector or accumulator if character, provenance and accuracy mean the most to you?

PS. The only one I really miss is a 250-3000 "EG" that went about 96%. Dang pretty gun. :-(
