Someone in another thread about stock texture asked me to post results on my latest little project.
I bought a B&C Alaskan Wilderness stock for my Model Seven Remington, and was never quite happy...it seemed "chubby" compared to their other Ti Clones...I measured it against a Ti and sure enough it was....

Being too cheap to fork out the $$$$ for a Manners or another McMillan, I decided it was hoof rasp/ Rattle can Rembrandt time grin

Gonna be hard to see the dimensional difference....but the forend isn't as wide, the wrist isn't as wide, and the comb has been lowered....

Paint is made to adhere to plastic, spray webbing used for texture between coats, Krylon webbing on surface, and a couple coats of satin finish clear fixative...

You gotta trust me...it feels better even if you can't see the difference! grin
