Every year I look in the app book for tag applications and your Parks and Wildlife makes that book so damn confusing to a NR, I have YET to be able to find the right code for ATV tags. LOL.
We do the same. Will use the ATV to go get it if possible. And to get to camp.
All the other idiots do is move em around and force us to walk further and further in search on foot. I refuse to follow their swamp trails destroying things...
nails and boards have come to mind... but I digress.
I will have to think though, if I do find and ATV tag code, can I utilize it after I harvest it or will it go to waste.....
PS THS is not at all what I want, but like you did, I've done it a couple of times in situations... and I"ve seen less wasted meat than busting shoulder blades and spine, obviously speed and bullet choice come into play too....
