My only experience with the 7STW was one a friend had on an elk hunt in Colo. One of our other hunting party had wounded a bull and I spotted it in the scrub oak across a canyon. It was a lasered 425 yards and we had no way of getting closer without spooking it. My buddy with the STW took the shot as I spotted for him. At the shot I swear that elk rotated 90 degrees on his longitudinal axis and just dropped stone dead. Pretty impressive.
