Since having acquired my 1951 99EG, I've noticed that the cocking indicator was under the Weaver base. The base had been relieved on the underside to allow for the indicator pin. Both of my 99E models have the cocking indicator but it seems to be on the aft side the scope bases. When did this change come about? Thanks!

My daddy was a cowboy in his younger days, wild as the west Texas wind. He once told me, "Son, death is a horse you got to ride. So you better get your saddle ready."
