While it is certainly a worthwhile endeavor to reduce runout, you may be surprised by how those high-runout rounds shoot at moderate distances. I recently shot a few rounds of 6.5 SAUM that I'd turned, prepped, & loaded with new RP 7mm SAUM brass. I picked the rounds with the most runout (0.010 or greater) and fired two sub-half moa five shot groups before I ran out of daylight. I'll use the rest of those for deer hunting or mid-range practice. I'd have no problems running those out to 500 yards or so.

While developing my process for forming 6.5 SAUM brass, I did a step-by-step analysis of runout. Without exception, the bushings are what gave me increased runout. I bought a Whidden 6.5 SAUM full-length die and the issue was reduced, though still very present on new brass. Once fired, things are fine and runout is minimal.
