I'm just wondering how bad it's gonna kick in a 30-06 or 7mm? A hunting buddy asked me to sight in a T/C 24 inch sported barrel for him in 30-06 he had bought for $90.00. After a few shots I soon realized why he only payed $90.00 for the barrel. The lack of weight in the rifle made it rock and roll upon firing.....not an enjoyable day at the range with a T/C. Doc I know haw ya feel. I bought a thinner barrel in 45-70 gov. It's 22" . That thing kicks something fierce. I never shoot the thing . I did however start using cast bullets with 12? gr Unique. Not bad at all but with 34gr IMR 4227 / 350 jacket bullet is terrible .
