Mt grandfrather was a taxidermist. He always said foxes and bobcats were the hardest to mount. Reason being, they are so shallow thru the chest. Most guys overstuff 'em ...then they look weird.
Unless I knew for sure the taxidermist was good with cats, I'd go for a rug.
