Cool looking red. That size and maybe up to 30-32 are the best eating. Usually no worms and decent size filets.
I'm with Dan. Mounts aren't cheap and I'd want what I want. He must be in high demand to take a year and a half. My guess is he probably forgot how you requested it over that time.
Still looks good, though. I would not think reds are easy to make the colors right from their pinkish belly to gold shoulders.
