When we were looking at new trucks for the wife all the f150 except one had 23 gallon tanks. We ended getting the one with the 36 gallon tank. I asked why they y had so many trucks with 23 gal tanks. They said ford was having a problem with their supplier of 36 gallon fuel tanks but had a [bleep] of 23 gal tanks and were using them as they told us ford had to build trucks.
