1 good sized bull through the lungs with the 7WSM and 180 Berger Hunting VLD. He walked 10 yards ad died. Same bullet electrocured 2 Coues deer at 100 yards, if that helps.
The elk was shot at 613 yards and the bullet stuck in the hide on the off side. I'll be using it again. Launch speed 2950 fps.
That's great for you but I really don't care about the 99 times a bullet works. It's the 1 time it doesn't that I worry about.
