We (Americans) lost in 2008 and 2012 because Republicans nominated terrible candidates. They won their respective nominations because voters in some states believed that compromising with liberals would make them less offensive to Democrats. It did. They won the "middle" and lost the elections.
Now they want to triple-down. The stupidity is overwhelming.
The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.
