Thought about the same thing.
But we decided on a 5th wheel set up. Didn't like the idea that if something went wrong with the power train, mechanics would be traipsing around our 'home'.
When you're traveling, you're driving. You don't need to go back for a sandwich.
But it's a matter of choice.
I could understand this issue for sure. Luckily I am a Diesel Tech by trade so it is all on me if it breaks.
The surprising thing is how little actually goes wrong with a Diesel pusher, they really are pretty reliable. I like the handling and drivability factor with the Coach.
