You want the hunter, palm swell, more vertical grip and great ergos,
Very few people here have any issue whatsoever with the Hunter, have two myself, and their my favorite.
regarding the not being friendly to carry, that's all in your mind.
I would pick the hunter way before the Supergrade, especially with a .308
