I took it for years and it kept my uric acid levels hovering just below the too much line.
Switched to Uloric a few hears back and Uloric works much mo betta for me.
Thing about gout is even if you aren't having a full blown attack, elevated uric acid can destroy your joints. Gout is pretty much controllable degenerative arthritis. So I CONTROL.
