Had the Burro Mountain tag 5 years ago. Tommy Maldonado does a scouting package for each of the 23 hunts.

Some general info that might be helpful in any Coues unit is I tried to get some elevation to glass as sun rose, even if was only a small mound that was 20 or 50 feet tall. My tag was late November and movement seemed to be the first hour and last hour of the day.

I have hunted Coues over in AZ and there vegetation seems to be key to figuring out where to start glassing. Ocotillo cactus seems to be one of the things they are near. Stream draws, even when dry, are often a transit path.
